A co-operative is a member-driven legal entity. We do not have employees; instead, we collaborate to operate our business. Each member plays a vital role by contributing their skills as needed, attending meetings, and serving on our board of directors.
Members must either reside in or have a connection to the Ottawa Valley and must meet specific membership requirements. These include upholding a high standard of work, demonstrating a commitment to financial obligations and work responsibilities, and participating in store shifts, meetings, and other activities.

The Valley Artisans' Co-op is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, excluding Christmas and New Year's Days.
Established in 1987, The Valley Artisans' Co-op stands as one of Canada's oldest artisan cooperatives.
As a cooperative, nearly everything is accomplished by our thirty talented and dedicated members.
Thirty members encompasses more than just thirty individual artists. Some memberships represent family groups, while others carry the work of associate artists. Our store showcases the creations of nearly forty talented artists and artisans.
