Bronze 1964 Great Britain Large Penny Coin Ring
This ring was made from an authentic 1960s Great Britain large one penny. This coin was in near-perfect condition and has been repurposed into a gorgeous, high quality ring featuring an ornate coin design.
1960s Great Britain one penny coins were minted at The Royal Mint in London, United Kingdom. From 1953-date, Queen Elizabeth II is the British monarch. This coin features a young portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse/front of the coin. The portrait of the queen is featured on the inner-band of this ring (the portrait on the inner-band will not cause any discomfort). The reverse/back of the coin depicts Britannia wearing a helmet, holding a trident, and with her hand resting on a shield. This is featured on the outer-band along with the date and words ‘One Penny’. This is a common coin with approximately 121 million produced.
This ring has been polished to beautifully to provide an elegant, gorgeous appearance. It has a large band width. It features an ornate design emphasizing Britannia, the date, and ‘One Penny’. It is important to note that this ring is made of bronze. This means the ring will cause skin discolouration. I seal every ring with ProtectaClear, which will prevent skin discolouration for 2 weeks, after that, it is advised that you apply a layer of clear nail polish to the ring. Please select your ring size 6-13 US/CA standards.
